Our free-range Waitoa Karaage Chicken take centre stage in this colourful, balanced bento that's as good to look at as it is to eat. Paired with fluffy rice and crisp veggies , it's the kind of lunch that makes midday something to look forward to. Easy to prep, easier to love.

- 2 Waitoa Karaage Chicken
- 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
- Seaweed
- ½ cucumber, sliced into rounds
- 1 carrot, cut into matchsticks
- 2 cherry tomatoes, halved
- Ginger
- Soy sauce or teriyaki sauce for dipping
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Method
- Cook Waitoa Karaage Chicken according to packet instructions.
- While chicken cooks, prepare your rice and let it cool to room temperature.
- Arrange rice in one section of your bento box. Place chicken pieces in another compartment.
- Fill remaining sections with vegetables, we suggest cucumber rounds, carrot sticks and cherry tomatoes.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over rice and chicken. Add a small container of soy or teriyaki sauce for dipping.
- Pack and refrigerate until lunchtime. Enjoy!
