2 Waitoa Karaage Chicken
1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
Seaweed
½ cucumber, sliced into rounds
1 carrot, cut into matchsticks
2 cherry tomatoes, halved
Ginger
Soy sauce or teriyaki sauce for dipping
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Method
Cook Waitoa Karaage Chicken according to packet instructions.
While chicken cooks, prepare your rice and let it cool to room temperature.
Arrange rice in one section of your bento box. Place chicken pieces in another compartment.
Fill remaining sections with vegetables, we suggest cucumber rounds, carrot sticks and cherry tomatoes.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over rice and chicken. Add a small container of soy or teriyaki sauce for dipping.
Pack and refrigerate until lunchtime. Enjoy!
