- Begin by cooking your Waitoa Chicken Kiev as per packaging.
- 5 minutes before ready, remove from the oven and sprinkle your grated edam cheese on top.
- Place back in the oven until the cheese is melted and starting to bubble.
- Slice your bread and set aside.
- Mash your ½ avocado with salt, pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
- Once the Kiev is cooked through and the cheese has melted, remove from the oven.
- Starting assembling your sandwich.
- Spread a thick layer of hummus on the bottom slice of bread.
- Top with a cup of rocket.
- Add your chicken Kiev on top of the rocket carefully assuring you do not burn yourself on the melted cheese.
- Top the Kiev with the remaining rocket.
- Spread the top layer of bread with your avocado mix.
- Finish assembling your sandwich.
- Serve with gherkins, crisps, or extra salad
** Be aware when cutting through the Kiev as the inside is very hot**
